You will need either the open source VLC player (Lin/Mac/Win) or the free Quicktime player version 7 or better (Mac/Win).
Macintosh notes.
Make sure you download the VLC Plugin as well as the regular player.
QuickTime 7 requires OS X 10.3.9 or better.
Linux notes.
Make sure you install the mozilla-plugin-vlc package or equivalent for your distro.
Not tested for Windows.
